What a day, Gold is soaring, Bonds are flying through the roof, GBP looking up the sky and their counterpart, the DXY, looking convincingly down. It seems like the European summer is over and investors and traders got to make up for summer expenses by either covering short positions or just getting into trends that were there but lacking real direction. Lovely for those who are used to seasonality in markets. Although 1340 looks very atracctive to add to XAU positions, I will wait until the ECB news on Thursday are out of the way and reasses from the outcome of the central bank meeting, however the trend is up and 1300 break has been confirmed without a doubt.

DeleteAs per now i am still waiting "something to happen" in NK. 9th of September is national day over there. Usually they express their nationalism with missile or nuke tests so gold might go up more but after that they will calm down so i expect a big drop. Who thinks the same?
ReplyDeleteCorrect, We will be very careful on our analisys on this coming Friday, in order to asses whether or not a big spike up over the weekend brings an opportunity to all traders.
ReplyDeleteAgree, i'm still waiting "something to happen" in NK too. i just wondering if NK try to make a move, Gold will rise up to heaven again. i even can't take any position yet, too scared for NK National Day. so becareful guys, especially take position on friday
